Many constituents have contacted Yavapai County Supervisor Donna Michaels to address the dangerous travel situation on Beaverhead Flat Road and Cornville Road.
Since Supervisor Michaels cares for the safety of residents and visitors who drive these roads almost daily, she reached out to Lieutenant John Johnson from the Yavapai County Sheriff’s office to discuss possible solutions. According to Lieutenant Johnson the Yavapai Sheriff’s office will immediately initiate two new solutions.
Starting March 1, 2021, the Special Governor’s Office of Highway Safety has funded DUI and traffic enforcement details on Cornville Road and Beaverhead Flat Road. In addition, a Radar trailer is being moved onto Cornville Road for Westbound traffic entering Cornville Road just past Koch Ranch Road.
Supervisor Michaels is grateful for, and gives credit to, the Yavapai Sheriff’s office for their timely response to the safety of residents.
